Rigging Tips

• Thread the screw lock into the nose of your soft plastic and twist until the bait seats flush against the head
• Keep the hook point exposed for best hooksets on the shakey head technique
• Drag slowly along the bottom and shake the rod tip — the quivering action triggers reaction bites from inactive fish
• Lighter heads (1/8–1/4 oz) for shallow water and slow presentations; heavier (3/8–1/2 oz) for deeper structure
