About Get The Net Hooks

Born on the Water, Built in the Garage

It all started with my grandfather. Some of my earliest memories are fishing with him as a little boy, chasing bass and learning to love everything about the sport. That passion never left me.

For years, I relied on Oldham's Weedless Tube Hooks — a tried-and-true hook that just flat-out caught fish. Then one day they disappeared from store shelves. I couldn't find them anywhere. So I did what any determined bass angler would do: I started making them myself in my garage.

Word Spread on the Water

I started handing them out to friends on fishing trips. Before long, they were coming back asking for more — and asking if I could make their other favorite styles too. What started as filling a gap for myself turned into shakeyheads, ned heads, tube hooks, jigs, and everything you see in our lineup today.

We listed our first hooks on eBay years ago as a hobby. Today, Get The Net Hooks sells online and at trade shows across the country, and you'll find our hooks on the shelves of select fishing and tackle shops throughout the eastern USA.

Why We're Different

Every hook we make is custom-built. We're not a big box brand — we're anglers who build gear we'd use ourselves. We use premium Mustad and Gamakatsu hooks because we won't put our name on anything we wouldn't trust on the water. When you order from Get The Net Hooks, you're getting gear made by a bass fisherman, for bass fishermen.

Thanks for supporting a small, angler-owned business. Now let's go get the net.
